Kick–Off the Year Picnic
A fun opportunity for the kids and
families to meet each other and make friends before the new school year begins with all its activities.

Family Hay Ride
Lots of fun! We’ll play horseshoes, volleyball, frisbee golf, cook
hot dogs and marshmallows over an open fire, and enjoy a lively hay ride through the woods. Bring enough hot dogs, buns, pop
and s’more makin’s for your family, and lawn chairs. Need volunteers for games and chili.
NOVEMBER
Passport to the World!
Come travel the world with TCHE. Choose and research a country, make a creative and colorful display for the geography
fair, prepare a sample-size serving of food from your country, and even dress in traditional costume. During the fair, students
will tell others about their country as people visit their booth. Children will also receive a “passport” to take
to the various countries and in it they will take notes and receive a “stamp” for visiting that country.
DECEMBER
Blanchard Christmas Parade
TCHE families help build a float that best represents TCHE and all that we do as homeschoolers, then we ride on
the float during the parade and have lots of fun!
Spelling
Bee!
Study up on those spelling words and compete in the second annual TCHE Spelling Bee!
JANUARY
Mystery History
Comes
Alive!
A fun night for the students and family! Students choose a special person from history
and portray that person in costume and with props. They’ll receive a presentation certificate and afterward we’ll
enjoy a reception.
FEBRUARY
Father-Daughter
Banquet
This is an opportunity for the girls to dress up pretty for their dads and an opportunity
for dads to show their daughters what a special place she has in his heart.

School Capitol Day
A wonderful opportunity to
show our children the Capitol, deliver cookies to our legislators and even influence their decisions. Last year TCHE made
36 dozen cookies, and had several families that went to the Capitol and spoke directly with legislators.
Science Spectacular!
A Science Fair for grades
K-12! Students choose a science project and present it to judges at Science Spectacular! When a student registers he will
receive a Student Handbook explaining in detail how to prepare and present an experiment for a science fair.

This is an opportunity for the sons to take their moms out on a special “date”.
It is an opportunity for moms to show their sons what a special place he has in her heart.

Oklahoma Land
Run!
Load up the wagons and jump on the horses we’re heading out west to stake our claim! Bring a sack lunch.

Track & Field Day
Track & Field Day for all 1st -12th grade students.
Lots of fun activities! Volunteers needed to help run events, etc.

This special evening is for our Focus students to put on their prettiest
dresses and sharpest suits and enjoy an evening of fine dining and fellowship with their friends.
